Dame Judi Dench: a message of HOPE

Ahead of International Day for Street Children on 12 April, HOPE UK is proud to share a message from renowned actress and HOPE Patron, Dame Judi Dench.

Dame Judi is a long running supporter of HOPE’s work in Kolkata, where our projects change the lives of some of the world’s most disadvantaged children.

“As a proud patron of The Hope Foundation, I ask you all to give as much you can to its 25th Anniversary Campaign. Since 1999, their support has impacted the lives of 3 million individuals who live in Kolkata’s slums and throughout the city’s streets,” said Dame Judi.

“Your contribution, no matter the size, will play a crucial role in extending their reach and touching the lives of countless more people. As we come together to give, we not only change lives but also collectively shape a world where HOPE and a better future is a universal right.”

Dame Judi Dench joins Olivia Colman CBE and Jeremy Irons in the list of stars supporting HOPE's work during our anniversary year, along with Saltburn actress Alison Oliver
