Age the age of 14, Parveen was rescued by the HOPE team from a situation that put her safety and wellbeing at serious risk. One of the first girls to be helped by HOPE’s protection programme, Parveen is now a successful, happily married woman.
Parveen lived with her parents and siblings in Sealdah Station. At the age of 14 she was rescued by HOPE from a situation that put her safety and wellbeing at serious risk, and moved into one of HOPE’s residential childcare centres.
Under HOPE’s care, Parveen completed Class 9 and then completed vocational training courses in beauty and tailoring. Parveen now works in HOPE’s Life Skills Training Institute, along with her husband.
