HOPE Ambassador Shelley King has been featured in the My Life Lessons segment of national women’s title Yours magazine.
Shelley, best known for playing Yasmin in Coronation Street, was interviewed on a number of topics, including her support for HOPE. In the interview she spoke about her connection to Kolkata, where she was born, and her affinity with HOPE’s work.
Talking about the children from HOPE’s programmes, Shelley said: “Despite being street children who have been exposed to all sorts of abuses, they have a light inside them.”
