Enjoy unravelling and discovering with this class! A focus is on unravelling Granthis (psychic “knots”) by the use of Yoga asana practice and mantra. This method in practice becomes a powerful way to intelligently untie the Granthis.
There are 3 main blockages or knots within the body’s system.
- Brahma Granthis – covering the lower torso – the simplistic issues of fear, guilt and shame.
- Vishnu Granthis – covering the upper torso – issues that knot us up of attachment, resentment, hurt and inability to speak our truth.
- Rudra Granthis – covering the mind – this knot creates a distortion, misapprehension and a vail of ignorance over how we see things.
Yoga is ecstatic play of consciousness, a constant renewal of our sense of wonderment and curiosity for life, to clarify and create a rich expression of the deep purpose we cannot ignore. We begin to refine and manifest purposefully leading to lasting fulfilment, contentment and liberation. Our Yoga practice is like heartfelt prayers or expressions of what matters to us, what brings us joy, what we truly desire. We enter a place where all prayers are answered, that place within that brings us deeper into our own hearts and bodies. We practice these principals in all our affairs on and off the mat. We make this practice sacred. Our Serenity from the practice of yoga is a remission on a daily basis contingent upon our dedication to ourselves to our own enfoldment, listening attentively to the whispering wisdom of our intuition (buddhi) that guides us to know our true nature. What we are when we are trying not to be somebody.
