“We travel, not to escape life; but for life not to escape us”. I feel this quote is extremely relevant to my trip to Kolkata. This unforgettable week has made me realise how fortunate we are, and how we should appreciate what we have. We visited numerous homes, crèches and the HOPE Hospital, and were struck by the wonderful affection of the kids towards us. Their beaming smiles and hugs will remain in my heart forever, as well as their appreciation for the little gifts we brought, (not to mention the time we spent with them)! You gave us your time, the most important gift of all. Probably the happiest and sunniest kids I’ll ever meet.
“We at Davy, are delighted to have HOPE as a Charity Partner. Two of our employees will visit India to experience the impact of HOPE on the ground. Employees of Davy are very interested in the work that HOPE do and we look forward to deepening our partnership with HOPE in the years ahead.”

“Butlers Chocolates & I are so proud to be part of HOPE for so many years. Each year, I make the journey to visit the projects, witnessing first-hand the change we can all make when we commit to a cause. While HOPE continues to work to save children on a daily basis, we here in Ireland and the developed world, can reach out in so many ways. Please take the time to engage with HOPE and reach out to the children who so desperately need us.”

I have been aware of the foundation and its excellent work for many years and have supported it and its fundraising efforts at a local level… I fully support the foundation in its attempts to source the funds required for its ambitious projects and I commend the foundation to you for consideration and support.

I consider the Hope Foundation a very well run charity that use any funds in a very efficient manner to provide direct care and support to the street children of Calcutta, I fully support the Hope Foundation with its various and worthwhile projects and I am happy to recommend them to potential donors.
