Bottle Shock - an evening of love, victory and fermentation
In 1976, Steven Spurrier rocked the French wine world in what became known as the Judgement of Paris - secretly entering Californian wines in the most important French wine tasting event in the calendar.
BOTTLESHOCK tells the story, starring Alan Rickman as Spurrier. We're delighted that Spurrier has agreed to introduce the film at Cineworld, Ravenscourt Part before hosting a blind tasting of US vs. EU wines nearby at The Thatched House. Whether you are a film buff or a wine lover this event is not to be missed. Tickets are available here (http://cellarsessions.eventbrite.co.uk/#) and cost £45. Tickets include the film screening, a hosted blind tasting of 12 wines and canapes & bowl food in the pub afterwards. Profits from the evening will be split between The Hope Foundation for Street Children and a local charity. Yoga Day with Simon Low
