Eat4streetkids - a fundraising scheme for restaurants, bars and pubs

Picture

50p is all it takes to feed a child who would otherwise go hungry.

Could you help some of the poorest children on earth look forward to a life out of poverty?

The idea is simple. Restaurants, bars and pubs add an optional donation of 50p per diner on to food bills. This 50p feeds a child in India for a day, contributes to their education and helps them access essential health care services.

The eat4streetkids scheme has raised over £25,000 for HOPE and provides us with a steady income, providing our projects with stability and enabling us to plan ahead effectively.

We make things easy for everyone, setting up the systems in each establishment so that no one has to spend any time, or money, on administration.

To find out more about the scheme please visit the eat4streetkids website or email us.

‘As a Patron of The Hope Foundation I am delighted to endorse this campaign. Half of the children in India are malnourished and hunger is the greatest risk to their health; more so than AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis combined. HOPE works with these children to provide nourishment, primary healthcare and education; giving them back their childhood and a brighter future. Supporting eat4streetKids means you can help these children whilst enjoying something as simple and pleasurable as a meal out. Thank you’.

Eat4streetkids funding in action

Ed Francis, General Manager of The Hampshire Hog Pub & Pantry (and formerly The Engineer), travelled out to Kolkata to see the impact their funding generated through the eat4streetkids scheme is having on the children's lives...
