Come Dine With Me
Could you host a themed evening for you and your friends to assist street and slum children in Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) through The Hope Foundation? We’ve all seen Come Dine with Me on TV, experienced the successes, the not-so-tasty desserts and the peculiar table manners of some – but mostly witnessed everybody having fun!
Invite a group of friends or colleagues for an evening inspired by this famous television programme and see what happens in your own Come Dine with Me… When? Launched to celebrate the International Day for Street Children (12th April). Can be held throughout the year!
What for? A protection home for former street boys in Kolkata, India How much? We are aiming to raise £2,100 to provide 10,000 meals for the children…
Celebrity Come Dine With Me winner and HOPE Ambassador, Christopher Biggins:
“I have no hesitation in endorsing The Hope Foundation’s Come Dine with Me initiative launched for the International Day for Street Children on 12th April 2012.
HOPE is doing fantastic work with children in Kolkata who would otherwise struggle to survive with no-one to turn to. Let’s raise lots of money and for goodness sake have fun in the process!” |
